Some of the key staff members who contribute to the success of QFE and the satisfaction of our many clients include:

Steve Drews – Technical Manager

One of the founding partners of QFE, Steve is our Technical Manager and is one of the most knowledgeable technicians in Queensland. With 27 years in the industry there’s not much he doesn’t know about fire system design, installation and support.

With a key focus on protecting people and assets from fire dangers within commercial, industrial, retail and residential buildings, Steve understands every aspect of fire alarm systems and can trouble shoot and find resolutions to the most complicated of systems.

Steve audits the installation of all of our install work to ensure the quality of the entire install and commissioning of the system meets our quality benchmarks. He sets exceptionally high standards and ensures all of our technicians are fully trained so they can meet those standards.

Steve also takes the technical lead for any integration work where QFE is required to work with existing legacy systems.

Robyn Audsley – Director & Office Manager

The third founding member and director of QFE, Robyn powers the engine room of day to day office operations. Prior to the formation of QFE, Robyn worked as an accountant for both accounting firms and corporate clients. She then became a qualified bookkeeper and started her own bookkeeping business. She has close to 3 decades of accounting and bookkeeping experience.

An experienced manager, Robyn ensures our staffing is at optimum levels so we can deliver on our service commitments to our clients.

With 6 years in the fire systems sector, Robyn is very experienced in all of the back office functions required to ensure QFE:

  • is compliant with all licensing regulations and tax obligations
  • is adequately insured
  • manages human resource and assets appropriately

In short, Robyn keeps the business on solid foundations to make sure that we are here to service our customers for the long term
